This privacy policy applies to all products, services and websites offered by SurveyTalent BV (collectively “SurveyTalent”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), except where otherwise noted.

This privacy policy describes how SurveyTalent collects, uses, shares and secures the personal information you provide when using SurveyTalent, and the data SurveyTalent collects for you when you have an account.

Collection and use

There are several scenarios in which we collect information; when you visit our website, when you open, respond to or are invited to a SurveyTalent powered survey, and when you have a SurveyTalent account.

Website Visitors

When you use our website, we might collect your language preference. We use this information to render the website in your preferred language. We might place a cookie on your device to store your preferred language.

When you contact us, we collect and process personal data that you volunteer to us. We only use this information to answer your queries.

When you visit our website, we may collect information including cookie information, device agent, the pages you request, IP address and the time of the access. We use this information to improve our website by analyzing how visitors navigate and use our services. We might place a cookie on your device to assist in the analysis of how visitors navigate our services.

When responding to a SurveyTalent powered survey, you might disclose information to the owner of the survey that makes you personally identifiable to them. SurveyTalent collects the information you volunteer on behalf of the owner of the survey. We don’t control the information you volunteer. We process the information on behalf of the owner. The owner is responsible to ensure the collection and processing of data is done in accordance with applicable law.

When responding to a survey, we might place a cookie on your device to assist in the provision of our services, including allowing you to continue the survey at a later time, or preventing you from filling out the same survey multiple times.

Account holder

We store your surveys and responses in your account. For every account we also store a unique subdomain. We use this information to provide our services to you.

For every account holder, we store login details. This includes an email address and password, and optionally a username. We use this information to allow account holders to securely login to our services, to identify different account holders within a multi member account and to provide account holders with support, mailings and marketing actions.

If you have or had a paid subscription, we collect your company name, company VAT identification number, company location and financial information related to the selected method of payment (a credit card number and expiration date or a bank account number). We also store your billing history. We use this for accounting purposes. We are also required by law to keep a copy of every invoice we’ve sent for auditing purposes.

Information provided by respondents to surveys owned by the account holder might include personally identifiable information such as name, company name, email address, physical address, phone number, IP address and other personally identifiable information. The information is collected by SurveyTalent on behalf of the account holder. The use of this information is decided by the account holder and is different for every survey. For account holders in the EEA, or for account holders collecting responses from respondents in the EEA, SurveyTalent acts as the data processor as defined in the Directive and the GDPR. If you are required to do so by the GDPR, you can review and accept our Data Processing Agreement in your account.

To login to SurveyTalent, you must allow us to place a cookie on your device to maintain your user session. This cookie will be cleared when you logout.
